2007/8 ladies' west v east
On Friday 7th December the annual East v West match was held in the Stromness Legion. There was a great atmosphere all evening and everyone was in high spirits. In the doubles the East took a commanding lead winning the majority of the games, however the West came back, and at one point were only 2 games behind, promising an exciting second half. But the East team held their nerve and had taken the match 11 - 7 by the end of the singles. The East also then took all of the fours games to achieve a final score of 14 - 7, obtaining their first win over the West in four years. Congratulations to the East Team.
